Purchased Signature select New England Clam Chowder 6/26/26 from the refrigerated deli area. Heated it up for lunch 7/2/26. It looked okay but I noticed when I had a couple of spoonfuls that it didn't taste quite right. Not blatantly bad just not how it usually tastes. Decided to check the best by date. To my surprise, horror and disgust, the best buy date was May 9, 2026. Not a few days past, but almost a full two months past. The recommended time frame to consume the chowder is 3-4 days past the printed date. Again, the best by date was almost 2 months ago! Since Albertsons purchased the store, quality has significantly decreased. This hasn't been the first time I noticed dented cans, squashed boxes, past best by dates, but this is a serious health and safety issue and needs to be addressed. Please make sure to check the best by dates! I can give grace for a few days, but 2 months! Unacceptable.

I have been shopping at United/Market Street for many years. The quality of bagging has been consistently poor, although the specific mistakes vary from employee to employee. On numerous occasions, heavy items have been bagged with delicate items, such as cabbage placed on top of tomatoes, or canned goods placed on top of fresh produce in the shopping cart. I have also had eggs cracked, bread crushed, and juice boxes or milk cartons punctured because of how groceries were bagged or loaded into the cart. . I understand that everyone has busy days and that mistakes happen. However, this is a recurring experience rather than an occasional one. And it happens at various Unite/Marke Street locations. . With the cost of groceries continuing to rise, it is extremely disappointing to get home and discover that items I've paid for have been damaged due to improper bagging. . I'm not writing to complain about any one employee. Rather, I hope this feedback can be used as an opportunity to reinforce bagging practices and provide additional training where needed. Customers should be able to trust that their groceries will arrive home in the same condition they were purchased. . I will no longer

The variety of products available was impressive. The store offered fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, snacks, beverages, household items, and packaged goods from different brands. I especially appreciated the freshness of the produce and the wide selection of both budget-friendly and premium options. The staff members were friendly, polite, and very helpful throughout my visit. They assisted customers when needed, guided me to the right sections, and ensured the checkout process was smooth and efficient. Their professional attitude made the overall experience more pleasant.

Noel manages this location. And he tops them all in quality and staff friendliness. The Meat Market from their manager Joe is just plain Texas delicious. Did you know you can go and get any of their cutters, I use Mason, to prep your beef, chicken, turkey or, ham per request? Then there is the bakery. I put their donuts up to any donut store in Lubbock because their manager Mark and staff produces a "factory belt" of delicious treats. Those guys work so hard. Thanks. Then there are the vegetables. Picture perfect. Fantastic selections. Their dinner line is delicious too. Guys like Adam will great you and fix up your order just the way you want your dinner plate to be. I can't image that any other possible competition that could match up the overall Texas friendly service and high quality foods you get here . That would be Noel's achievement.

The pharmacy has a sign outside near the drive thru that says drive thru open 24 hours. This is in fact not true. Neither the inside or drive thru is open 24 hours. The hours are not even posted inside. On the website it says pharmacy hours 9am-9pm. Don’t advertise 24 hours when you aren’t.
